In the past three years, Hānau Hou Arts & Fashion has become an event you don't want to miss during the monumental Merrie Monarch Week. Recurring every year on the Monday of this week, we have showcased talents from around Hawaiʻi island
Meet the Team

CEO & Founder
Dr. Hannah Preston Pita
Hannah Preston Pita is a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She has two doctorates in Clinical Psychology and in Education - Transformational Leadership. She started this show while starting her own fashion line, Hoʻoilina, with hopes to showcase the talents of Hawaiʻi. It is her vision that roots Hānau Hou to itʻs purpose.

Executive Director
Raynn Dangaran
Raynn Dangaran is a recent 2024 graduate of Oregon State University. Born and raised here in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, her passion for events like fashion shows is rooted deep within her childhood. Raynn joined the team as Executive Director to fulfill Dr. Hannahʻs vision of appreciating and presenting local artistry in all forms.

Director of Operations
Hayden Konanui-Tucker
Hayden Konanui-Tucker, from Puna, Hawaiʻi, is a Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi graduate and a Business Administration major at UH Hilo. He has held leadership and creative roles island-wide, including Chair of the Hawaiʻi County Youth Commission, and founder of Ka Makani o Puna, a Native Hawaiian event consulting business that produces culturally rooted events.
